Since 2015, YouTube Music’s Foundry program has supported independent musicians globally, working with over 250 artists to help them develop sustainable careers independently. Today, the program announced its first cohort of 2026, welcoming 24 emerging artists from 11 countries. The Foundry initiative provides resources and visibility to independent artists seeking to build careers outside of major label structures.
