Should work on a fiber connection as long as your cameras have a strong signal. I had ‘ON’ and ‘OFF’ automations for 4 outside cameras toggling motion detection and notification ON/OFF. The furthest camera has a 1 bar Signal and sometimes the toggling ON/OFF didn’t work on it but worked on the other 3 cameras.
