It will record without internet, but with some cam models, if they’ve been offline for more than 30 minutes, they’ll reboot to try and get back online. After that happens, the date/time is no longer correct (assuming they didn’t get an internet connection back) so you have to either pull the card and find the folder with the old date (which is where it will record to) or navigate through the calendar in the app to find that date. I’ve heard it is the date of the firmware build.
