Wyze denied warranty claim since the cam was not activated right away when purchased. Only been 9 months

I always test out every cam I purchase as soon as it is received. Set it up, update the firmware, test it out to see if it records. If all is well and I don’t need the cam I put it back in the box and only take it out to update the firmware or use it as a replacement.
