Can the WiFi be fully disable on Lock Bolt v2?

I had the same question when I was looking into the Lock Bolt v2. I like the idea of having the physical key as a backup, but I can also understand wanting to keep the lock completely offline. The temporary Wi-Fi idea seems like a reasonable approach for setup and firmware updates, but I’d be curious whether the lock continues scanning for a network afterward and how much that actually affects battery life.
