A two-day conference in Geneva on June 18-19 brought together 120 academics, researchers, and policymakers to discuss intellectual property in the context of artificial intelligence, digitalization, and technological innovation. Organized by the University of Geneva Faculty of Law in collaboration with WIPO and the WTO, discussions covered AI impacts on copyright, technology transfer, biotechnology, geographical indications, data protection, and public health issues.
