The University of Valencia has added 32 new articles on Valencian heritage to Wikipedia

The University of Valencia completed its Arte Valenciano II educational project during the 2025-2026 academic year, with 51 students creating 32 new Wikipedia articles about Valencian heritage including sculptures, churches, archaeological sites, and intangible cultural traditions. Beyond the articles, participants contributed 113 images to Wikimedia Commons and created new categories on the platform. The collaboration between the university and Wikimedia Spain demonstrates how Wikipedia as an educational tool can simultaneously develop digital skills and enrich free knowledge about regional culture.
