A VentureBeat Pulse Research survey of 145 enterprises found two-thirds had already hedged their AI model strategy, with 51% blending closed and open-weight models and 16% moving to open-source deployments. Only 10% have automated monitoring for production AI systems, and 79% experienced financial or operational control failures from autonomous agents.
