Starting with v8.0.0, Unleash is transitioning its core open-source repository from the Apache 2.0 license to AGPLv3, requiring organizations that modify and offer Unleash as a public SaaS to share those modifications. Official Docker images will continue under Apache 2.0, all SDKs remain on their current permissive licenses, and Enterprise and Cloud customers are entirely unaffected.
