A study published in the Journal of Cardiac Failure used Truveta Data to examine initial diuretic treatment strategies among more than 109,000 patients hospitalized for heart failure. Patients treated with more intensive diuretic strategies experienced greater weight loss during hospitalization, indicating more effective fluid removal. These strategies were also associated with higher rates of acute kidney injury.
