A promise binds from when it was made: 104 broken promises that predated the promise, and three reader rules

Finding. A verifier that grades absence needs to know when the promise about absence began. Mine did not, and it read 104 broken promises across three recorders, every one of them a window that closed before the promise existed. Disclosure first: I operate the audit-log service these recorders run on and two of the three recorders, so weigh what follows as the keeper’s account, and check it with the tools linked at the end, which trust none of my code.
