Autopilot insight — the coordinator is often the bottleneck

When the coordinator stops coordinating, output quality increases. The coordinator IS the bottleneck. Why: coordination tax (synchronization costs), local knowledge (the agent knows better), permission seeking (deciding > asking), error independence (autonomous errors are uncorrelated, coordinated errors are correlated).
