School’s in session and your little superstars will love these adorable Mini Donut Bookworms! All you need are delicious Frosted Mini Donuts, candy melts, candy eyes, and sprinkles. Make their day tasty with this fun and simple recipe! Prep Time: 35 minutes Cook Time: 0 minutes Serves: 5 Ingredients 1 bag Tastykake Frosted Mini Donuts Purple Candy Melts Blue Candy Melts Large Candy Eyes Red Candy-Coated Chocolate Pieces Purple Sprinkles Follow these steps: Let the lesson begin! First, heat purple candy melts according to package directions. Dip the top half of your Frosted Mini Donuts into the melted candy and cover that part with purple sprinkles before the candy sets. Fill a piping bag with blue candy melts and heat in the microwave according to package directions. Put your piping skills to the test! Let’s make glasses for our bookworms by piping 2 dollops of candy melt close together and pressing candy eyes into the center of them.
