Prior to joining Surgery Partners, Mr. Cornelison held Treasury leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group and SCA Health where he led strategic initiatives focused on optimizing liquidity, managing financial risk, and supporting enterprise-level treasury operations. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare finance, Steven brings deep expertise in treasury strategy, cash management, and capital markets. He graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and holds the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation. Steven is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) and has served on the board of the Minnesota AFP and Alabama AFP, contributing to the advancement of treasury best practices nationwide.
