Standard Industries Announces Molecule.one as Winner of $1 Million AI Challenge

Standard Industries and W. R. Grace & Co. announced on June 12, 2025 that Molecule.one won the $1 million Standard Industries Chemical Innovation Challenge for AI-assisted molecular synthesis. More than 30 teams competed, with nine semifinalists receiving $10,000 each and three finalists receiving $100,000 each. Molecule.one’s deep learning platform automates chemical retrosynthesis and operates labs in Warsaw, Poland and Boston, Massachusetts.
