Timberline Solar® ES 2: The Next Generation of Solar Roofing

GAF Energy unveiled Timberline Solar ES 2 on February 19, 2025, the latest evolution of the world’s first nailable solar shingle. The system generates 57 watts per shingle, a 23% increase over its predecessor, with an ultra-slim profile under one-quarter inch, 220% greater coverage area, UL 7103 certification, Miami-Dade approval, and 130 mph wind resistance. It is manufactured in Georgetown, Texas and San Jose, California.
