Lessons from complex OpenAPI spec to MCP server conversions

Stainless generates client SDKs across many languages for customers’ APIs, and recently customers began requesting the ability to generate MCP servers that wrap their API and expose it as a set of tools for LLMs. The post shares lessons learned from those complex OpenAPI-to-MCP conversions.
