register problem

Hello SourceForge Support, I am trying to complete the required phone validation to register a project. I entered my valid US phone number in the format 1-901-669-8608, but every time I submit it I receive: “Request to API failed, please try again.” I have already tried different phone number formats, refreshed the page, logged out and back in, and tried another browser/incognito mode. The same error continues.
