Walker Beard on the Second Mountain Every Band Has to Climb

Walker Beard has been on most sides of the live music business. He played in a well-regarded Athens band while getting a law degree, helped build the group that ran the Georgia Theatre, Variety Playhouse, Terminal West and the Eastern, spent four years in Los Angeles running business and legal affairs for Netflix’s Experiences team, and is now CEO of Super Canoe, an Athens and Atlanta company doing media production, artist management and live events at once.
