To add your own music in the TikTok app, tap the + icon, upload or record your video, and tap Add Sound at the top of the editing screen. That path works cleanly on Personal and Creator accounts. Business accounts are restricted to TikTok’s Commercial Music Library, which blocks the local audio import path entirely.
