A PCSK9 Inhibitor in a Pill: What Lipfendra Changes—and What It Doesn’t

Lipfendra is officially FDA-approved, giving patients something they haven’t had before: an oral PCSK9 inhibitor for lowering LDL, or “bad,” cholesterol. As a physician, I’m always glad to see patients get more treatment options. And there’s plenty to be excited about here.
