Building a new power plant and automation of import of equipment into S/4

I am seeking insights from individuals who have participated in major construction projects involving facilities that utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) functions. What is the recommended approach for systematically entering information related to equipment, maintenance activities, task scheduling, and preventive maintenance derived from drawings, catalogs, and component documentation received during construction, in preparation for operational readiness? I am within the utility industry and looking for automated tools or possibilities to avoid manual data input and creation.
