How to check if a Standard CDS View can be extended?

I need to understand how to verify if a Standard CDS View in SAP S/4HANA can be extended using a CDS Extension View. Example: A_PRODUCT or A_MatlStkInAcctMod Could someone explain the best methods to check this? Any guidance would be appreciated!
