Use More than 6 characteristic data in ePPDS and generate setup matrix and run the optimizer

Hello ePPDS Experts, I am new in ePPDS module so i need your valuable input . standard SAP is allow only 6 characteristics and generate the setup matrix based on that. My requirement is to use more than 6 characteristics(total 9 char) and generate the setup matrix with more than 3000 combination and feed it into optimizer. How can i achive it? please need your expert suggestion on this may be in little bit detail level as i am new in eppds area..
