ICML 2026: Key Takeaways for AI Practitioners

This July I attended ICML 2026 in Seoul, South Korea. It was my second year at the conference and a chance to see how rapidly the field has shifted in just twelve months. COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, Seoul , South Korea Key Insights The scale of ICML 2026 reflected the explosive growth of the field: 23,918 submitted papers (+97.5% YoY), 6,352 accepted papers (+94.8% YoY), and approximately 13,333 conference attendees (+66.7% YoY).
