Bologna in late May is a good place to be: tortellini, sunshine, and a Python conference with an outdoor swimming pool. PyCon Italia 2026 drew 850 attendees from 40 countries across four days and 120 sessions. I attended not just as an Applied Scientist from Thomson Reuters Labs but as part of the organising team, my third year helping run the event.
