Frontier Model Is the Wrong Meter for Continuous Security

Running frontier AI models as continuous security scanners is economically unfeasible because their per-token costs make always-on scanning prohibitively expensive, with output tokens costing five times more than input tokens. The author argues for an independent security layer built specifically for continuous scanning rather than relying on frontier models.
