[BETA] Plexamp for Android no longer works on ChromeOS

Since updating to the beta the app immediately crashes on the splash screen on my Chromebook. I’m not sure when this started happening, but I assume it was some time during the transition to 4.50.x, because the previous versions (4.13.?) worked just fine.
