Keeping this topic alive, I’ve managed to allow a scrub forward after a live pause ( not recording program though) but as you say still goes back to beginning of program when unpaused. I am using an Apple TV 4K with a UGreen dxp4800 /plus/ pro NASs with latest plex pass connected to HDHomeRun.
