Only “Beta” I can find in my Google account for apps is for VLC. I was in beta for a while when trying to solve the issue with latest update, I also left from it. Google Play Store shows for me for my Shield the version 10.30.8.4222 which is the new UI to my understanding, also GPS shows “Updated August 17th 2026” which is a day before when I updated.
