Until now, BT Group’s consumer brands, BT, EE and Plusnet, have sold broadband only over Openreach. With TalkTalk, BT Group can sell full fibre over other companies’ networks for the first time. On CityFibre alone, 1.38 million of the premises it can now reach have no Openreach FTTP today.
