Android notifications not triggering for newsletters

I set up an AP newsletter in NewsBlur and enabled Android notifications for it, but I’m not receiving any Android notifications at all. As a test, I turned on email notifications and those do work. Other Android notifications from regular feeds are working normally, it only seems to be newsletters that aren’t triggering Android push notifications.
