UAE Nafis Update – What's Changing?

The UAE has extended the Nafis program until 2040, with key changes effective September 2026. Updates include raising the child allowance to AED 600 per child with no cap, setting the minimum salary threshold at AED 6,000, reducing the maximum salary threshold for support to AED 20,000, introducing new support schemes for children of Emirati mothers and wives of Emirati citizens (up to AED 3,000 monthly), and extending support to free zone employees earning below AED 6,000 for up to 15 months.
