The Age of Intelligence

We are nearing the end of the Information Age. On November 30, 2022, the world changed. That was the date ChatGPT was released as a prototype to the public. In four short months, humanity moved from thinking Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) was a distant fantasy to thinking it may be just around the corner. So how close are we? Is there a way to measure it? One approach is to compare the number of parameters in these large neural networks with the number of synapses in a human brain.
