Infant Skincare in India: Clinical Practices, Perceptions, and Evolving Perspectives from a Healthcare Professional Survey

Abstract Objective Infant skin is highly susceptible to dermatitis, barrier dysfunction, and infections, necessitating safe and evidence-based skincare. This study assessed perspectives of Indian healthcare professionals (HCP) on infant skincare practices, product recommendations, prescribing behavior, and unmet needs in sensitive skin and atopic dermatitis management. Methods An online multicentric 4 independent cross-sectional survey was conducted involving 358 healthcare professionals across India, including pediatricians, dermatologists, and other clinicians, using structured questionnaire
