Construction of a risk prediction model for postoperative bleeding in patients with thyroid cancer based on clinical data

Objective To develop and validate a risk model for predicting postoperative bleeding in patients with thyroid cancer. Methods A total of 2800 consecutive patients diagnosed with thyroid cancer in the Department of Thyroid and Breast Surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University between January 2020 and December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were categorized into two groups based on postoperative bleeding occurrence: bleeding and non-bleeding groups.
