Hilscher, a German industrial communication company, has joined the Margo Initiative as a Contributor to help advance interoperability of edge software applications. Margo, hosted by the Linux Foundation, focuses on an open standard specification, a code-first reference implementation, and an open compliance test suite, joining members like Beckhoff, Belden, Yokogawa, ABB, Microsoft, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, and Siemens.
