The Margo Initiative, part of the Linux Foundation, announced Preview Release 1 (PR1), giving the industry its first public access to the interoperable industrial edge application lifecycle management specification and a sandbox environment. PR1 is available at docs.margo.org, with feedback collected via discourse.margo.org ahead of a full general release planned for 2026.
