From four professors to 250 researchers: celebrating 30 years of LIACS

What started in 1996 as a small institute with a handful of staff and students has grown into one of the largest institutes within Leiden University’s Faculty of Science. As LIACS celebrates its 30th anniversary, two long-standing members reflect on its remarkable journey.
