Unlocking the value of Physical AI for manufacturing

Intrinsic unveiled the Intrinsic Intelligence Cell, a modular AI-powered robot workcell, at Automate 2026 in Chicago. The company’s AI for Industry Challenge drew over 5,000 registrations from 1,600 teams across 115 countries, with 31 teams advancing to validate solutions on Intrinsic’s software platform. CEO Wendy Tan White said the intersection of AI with modular production will unlock new value by making advanced robotics more accessible to manufacturers of all sizes.
