International Day for Biodiversity: Project Results

The project window for the IDB 2026 project has come to an end — and the results are incredible. Over 17 days, May 15 through May 31, in celebration of this year’s International Day for Biodiversity theme, Acting Locally for Global Impact , the iNaturalist community did what it does best: got outside, paid attention, and shared what they found. Protecting biodiversity starts with knowing what’s out there.
