Deep research agents that combine private documents with web tools risk privacy leakage when external queries reassemble fragments of sensitive information through a mosaic effect. The study finds agents frequently leak private data and proposes PA-DR training to reduce leakage from 34% to 9.9% while maintaining task performance.
