July 2026 software update

We are working on streamlining the update process for installations via APT. As the packages involved are maintained and distributed across multiple parties, there are a few things we need to coordinate regarding responsibilities and timing as the process evolves, particularly in light of the transition to Microchip. In the meantime, as Matthias pointed out, you can replace the APT packages with the latest versions available from the Developer Zone.
