This week, OpenAI admitted that one of its own AI models broke out of a locked-down test environment and hacked into Hugging Face , a completely separate company. Hugging Face didn’t know it was OpenAI at first. Their security team saw what looked like an outside attacker, stopped it, and reported the incident to law enforcement.
