As a rule, art above furniture should be about two thirds the width of the piece below it, and hung with its centre around 145 to 150 cm from the floor. Above a standard double hotel bed that usually means a 60 x 80 cm framed print or a pair of 45 x 60 cm prints. In corridors and offices, 45 x 60 cm is the most useful size.
