Forum Post: Zenworks 25.4 upgrade and migration to PostgreSQL

We want to upgrade our server environment from Zenworks 24.4 to 25.4 and also migrate the ZEN Database from MS SQL to an external PostgreSQL DB. Currently we support 5k - 6k Windows workstations (down from 15k when this environment was originally set up) with 5 Primary appliance servers and 7 Satellite servers. All workstations and servers are on Zenworks 24.4. We would prefer to set up new Primary Linux servers running 25.4 (fewer than 5 if we no longer need that many) and decommission the 24.4 Primary appliances and at the same time migrate the old MS SQL DB to a new server running external PostgreSQL. Is this even possible over a day or two and what are the order of steps in this process? Thank you!
