On June 06, 2018, President Trump appointed Richard Giacolone to serve as the Acting Director for FMCS, for which he was subsequently confirmed by Congress in a unanimous voice-vote as Director. Mr. Giacolone began his mediation career at FMCS in the Chesapeake, Virginia field office in 1995.
