Originally, back-end and front-end Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) were owned by teams. They code the programs, set up databases and infrastructure, and quickly spring to action at the beep of any anomaly. The advent of code vs no-code infrastructure, SaaS, API dependencies, third parties, and other modern systems seems to be eroding this authority.
