From the Classroom to the Cockpit: Aviators Bring STEM to Virginia Beach Students Ahead of Oceana Air Show

Before the jets roar over Naval Air Station Oceana this weekend, Navy pilots and one top aerobatic civilian pilot have taken aviation out of the cockpit and into the classroom, reaching more than 8,000 students in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake elementary schools in preparation for the NAS Oceana Air Show, which takes place from September 18 to 20.
