The Flight Before the First Flight

Hawaii Army National Guard UH-60M Black Hawk’s first deployment to the Philippines marked the culmination of years of aviation exchanges, planning and professional engagement between the Hawaiʻi National Guard and the Philippine Air Force. More than the movement of a single aircraft, the mission demonstrated how sustained partnerships, shared purpose and quiet professionalism can evolve into operational capability, supporting bilateral aviation training under the National Guard State Partnership Program.
